AI ACT WORKSHOP
The EU AI Act:
from a 144-page regulation into a working checklist your team can actually use.
Why This Workshop Matters
Most SMEs are already using AI, ChatGPT for proposals, Copilot for reports, automated screening for CVs, chatbots on the website, without realising that each of those tools now sits inside a legal framework with real fines attached.
The AI Act doesn't ask whether you built the AI; it asks whether you use it, and what you do to keep it under control. Sanctions reach €35M or 7% of turnover, and the first checks start in August 2026.
This workshop replaces the legal reading with a working session: we go through your real tool stack, classify it on the spot, and leave you with documents your auditor (or your lawyer) can actually open.
(All exercises run on your own examples but inside neutral templates — nothing you produce in the room is binding until you choose to publish it.)
Move from "we use some AI tools" to "we know exactly which ones, in which tier, with which duties" — in half a day.
Practice your cybersecurity skills safely in sandbox environments like this — fully interactive, risk-free, and realistic.
Who This Is For
This workshop is designed for the people who decide which tools enter the company and who answers when regulators ask questions:
Owners & Directors
Operations & Project Managers
HR, Marketing & Sales leads
External consultants, accountants and advisors
Anyone responsible for choosing or approving SaaS tools
What You’ll Do
All exercises are performed in the 42 Workshop Hub sandbox, so you can practice with confidence and leave with confidence.
All exercises are performed on the 42 Workshop Hub templates, so every deliverable is something you can keep, edit and reuse straight away.
Rather than slide-led theory, this workshop is built around four working blocks:
-
List the AI tools actually in use across your company and place each one on the EU's four-tier risk scale.
-
Define your legal role for each tool and the specific obligations the AI Act attaches to it.
-
Fill in your Company AI Systems Register and draft your AI Acceptable Use Policy for staff and contractors.
-
Build a prioritised 90-day action plan and run a short AI Readiness self-audit with score and next steps.
How It Works
4 hours, working session with templates filled in live and reviewed together
Tool-agnostic — works whether your team runs on ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini or in-house solutions, until a short Inventory Triage confirms your real stack
All deliverables remain yours: AI Register, Use Policy, Provider/Deployer matrix, 90-day roadmap
Aligned with EU Regulation 2024/1689 and the European Commission's SME guidance
